This past week I interviewed Andy Teasley, self-proclaimed serial entrepreneur and real estate investor. Andy is a regular at my FIBI meetings in Pasadena, California and he runs a volunteer organization called The Millionaire Makers the Next Generation, which he and others started to ensure real estate teachings didn't end when those before them left the business. Their mission is to train the next generation of educators with the hopes of teaching people to be teachers.
Douglas G. Duncan is Fannie Mae's Senior Vice President and Chief Economist. He is responsible for providing all forecasts and analyses on the economy, housing, and mortgage markets for Fannie Mae. Duncan also oversees corporate strategy and is responsible for strategic research regarding external factors and their potential impact on the company and the housing industry. He serves as the Chair of the Fannie Mae Corporate House Price Forecast Committee.

In real estate you must know who you are. Your investor profile lists things what you're good at. Are you a project management, construction, interior design, etc. What you want to wake up for determines what type of real estate you want to own. If you don't want to wake up and do it, don't buy it because it will never make you happy.

This week I spoke with a real estate colleague, Bruce Norris of the Norris Group, a California real estate investment group. The Norris group has flipped over 4,000 homes and they do hard money loans where they loan money out to flippers and most importantly, Bruce and his group make communities better.
This week I had the opportunity to interview Mathew Owens, founder of OCG Properties, on my Ask Christina First Radio Show.
